Curious about AI agents? In this short teaser session, we’ll explore what agents are, how they differ from LLMs, and why multi-agent systems are so powerful. We’ll also demo a simple agent in action and leave plenty of time for your questions.

This is just a taste of our upcoming hands-on workshop Building Intelligent AI Agents in TypeScript — a practical session with talks and code labs where you’ll go from building your own agent to creating and demoing a full multi-agent system. You’ll leave with both an intuitive understanding and a working system you can build on.

How We Built an Agentic Crew in TypeScript

Multi-agent AI frameworks are everywhere right now—OpenAI Swarm, CrewAI, Langflow—but most of them are built Python-first. Meanwhile, a huge chunk of AI startups (60–70% in YC, by some counts) are building in TypeScript. And honestly, spinning up a whole Python backend just to leverage some of these frameworks didn’t feel worth it.

In this talk, I’ll walk through how we approached building a multi-agent AI system in TypeScript—by focusing on the core principles behind these frameworks and building something similar that fits the JS stack.
